We will receive a tax rebate equal to 30% of the system cost. In addition, I found out that the resale value of our condo has increased by the amount of 150% of the cost of the solar installation. We took a Home Equity Credit Line loan from Point Loma Credit Union (760-804-9040 Gina Bolton) at 4% to install our solar panels. We will repay 30% of this credit line when the tax refund comes. (The tax rebate will end in 2016.) This will reduce our payment to about $50.00 per month below the average cost of our old SDGE bill. So we will be buying our solar panels with the money we would have paid to SDGE. Best of all our future bills will not increase and after five years our credit line will be paid and our electricity will be Virtually Free. **** Our October bill from SDGE was $0.00!!!!!!!
